Display cases in the Saline District Library feature marionettes handcrafted by long-time Saline resident Meredith Bixby. Bixby’s troupe toured the Midwest for more than 40 years, entertaining some 200,000 people. More information »






Weber Blaess One-room Schoolhouse

Weber Blaess One Room Schoolhouse520 Woodland Dr.

The historic Weber-Blaess Schoolhouse was moved to Saline in 2002, and has since been meticulously restored. During the past school year, more than 1,000 third and fourth graders spent a day here, experiencing what it was like to learn in a one-room school.
